SOMALIA: QUICK SNAPSHOT

Somalia faces a severe food crisis, with 4 million people (21% of its population) in emergency or crisis-level food insecurity, per the latest IPC. In 2024, around 1.7 million children under 5 are at risk of acute malnutrition, including 430,000 expected to suffer severe malnutrition.
